About Us

A cornerstone of our program is our belief in children’s natural creativity. We know children get great pleasure from being involved in the arts, and so we encourage this at every age. Children learn skills and gain immense self-esteem when given diverse opportunities to create. Art is an integral part of our program, and we provide a wide array of materials for creating.

LITTLE EXPLORERS

At the heart of our ethos lies the concept of LITTLE EXPLORERS. We view children as innate adventurers, ceaselessly probing the world around them with fresh eyes and boundless enthusiasm. Recognizing this natural drive to explore, we’ve crafted our approach to be one of guidance rather than imposition. The journey of discovery, after all, is as crucial as the knowledge gained. Through gentle nudges and careful observation, we foster an environment where young minds feel empowered to question, engage, and marvel. Whether it’s the intricate patterns of a leaf, the dance of shadows, or the stories behind clouds, we champion the importance of small discoveries. For in these moments, a child doesn’t just learn about the world; they learn the joy of discovery itself, setting the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity and wonder.

Play Learn Develop

Every child’s journey is unique, yet the paths of play, learning, and development are intertwined. In every giggle during playtime, there’s a lesson being absorbed. With every new game, a skill is honed. At our core, we champion this holistic approach, ensuring each child blossoms in a balance of joy, knowledge, and growth.

Our Philosophy

Learning is natural

Young children have lively minds from the start. We strive to make the most of this natural quality by enabling them to experience, investigate, care about others, interact, develop and create. We strive to deepen and strengthen children’s natural abilities by providing them with the healthiest environment possible.

Our Story

The Hollytree Nursery was established in 1989. After 2 years of consultation involving our parents, into the care and development of our children, parents told us they wanted to be involved in their child’s routines and experiences at Hollytree.

So we revolutionised parents’ relationship with their child’s school life with the introduction of the ‘Daily Chart’, now referred to as an ‘Observation Report’, now widely adpoted by nurseries across the country, to help foster a togetherness and inclusion in the daily nursery life of parent’s little ones.

Forest and Nature Inspired

Our outdoor areas are truly a sight to behold. A beautiful 90×60 metre lawn leads to a ‘secret’ garden trail leading to a scented garden with outdoor seating. With raised decking and hard surfaces allowing for bikes, scooters, prams and trollies. Our kids love to get hands on with nature, whether it’s making mud pies in our huge outdoor shelter or helping grow herbs in our raised garden, Hollytree children are given the freedom to let their imagination run wild, allowing their creativity to flourish. parents’ relationship with their child’s school life with the introduction of the ‘Daily Chart’, now referred to as an ‘Observation Report’, now widely adpoted by nurseries across the country, to help foster a togetherness and inclusion in the daily nursery life of parent’s little ones.
